Branch Specialisation: At 1st level, the officer must choose
which branch of the military he will serve in – fleet, ground
forces or pilot.
Fleet: These officers gain the Fleet class features (see The
Officer table). They also gain the Spacecraft Proficiency
feat for free at 1st level. A fleet officer is proficient with
all close combat, grenade and pistol weapons. The
following skills are added to the fleet officer’s class skills:
Knowledge (astrophysics), Operations (piloting) and
